BUKIT KIARA PROPERTIES TARGETS RM250 MILLION SALES

Niche upmarket lifestyle property developer Bukit Kiara Properties Sdn Bhd (BKP) is expecting to reap RM250 million in sales revenue with its latest project, Hijauan Kiara.

Located in the exclusive neighbourhood of Mont'Kiara in Kuala Lumpur, the condominium project which is already more than 80 per cent sold without the benefit of any advertisements since it was unveiled two months ago, reinforces BKP's position as a leading player in the high-end property development segment in the Klang Valley.

In addition to contributing to the company's bottom line, Hijauan Kiara also raises the standard in the niche luxury condo market of Mont'Kiara with the introduction of a host of first-of-its-kind features such as its layout of no more than two units on each floor, private lift lobbies, sunken baths and a unique spa island for the enjoyment of residents.

The project which is sited on a 5.4-acre freehold parcel features only 188 units housed in seven blocks, making it one of the lowest density offerings in Mont'Kiara. The seven blocks will be of varying heights to ensure the project blends in with the natural contours of the site and its surroundings.

The three high-rises of 24, 26, and 29 storeys are named Angelica, Bergamot and Chamomile respectively. The four low-rise blocks of 12, 10, 8, and 6 storeys have been named Dandelion, Eucalyptus, Frangipani and Geranium.

According to BKP's group managing director N.K. Tong, Hijauan Kiara caters to the demand for high-end luxury homes in this sought after address. "In response to this, Hijauan Kiara offers built-up areas in excess of 2,000 sq ft and the unique features of one or two units per floor and private lift lobbies," he said.

"What is also unique about Hijauan Kiara is its Spa Island. Spread over 8,000 sq ft, it is a place of relaxation and rejuvenation. With amenities that include a jacuzzi, hot and cold pools and therapy rooms for spa treatments, Hijauan Kiara aims to genuinely offer the resort lifestyle," he added.

A variety of standard and duplex units are offered priced at an average of RM450 per square foot, with sizes ranging from 2,090sq ft to 3,732sq ft accommodating 3+1 and 4+2 bedrooms. Also available are six penthouses ranging from 3,765sq ft and 4,612sq ft with 4+1 bedrooms.

Hijauan Kiara will be supported by a full complement of condo facilities that include 24-hour security, an indoor and outdoor gym, reflexology path, jogging track, tennis and squash courts and a barbecue area. It will also feature a half Olympic size swimming pool for adults, jacuzzi sundeck, a 22m children's pool and a water maze.

The recreational aspect is strong in this project and is another platform upon which BKP has used to innovate for the benefit of purchasers.

N.K. Tong pointed out that it is the company's philosophy is to 'exceed our buyers' expectations not just through innovation but also in terms of quality, sustained customer relationship, excellent management and peace of mind.

With this Hijauan Kiara also presents itself as an investment opportunity for purchasers in this segment of the market. "While we hope to see many a happy home being set up here, we also expect buyers to capitalise on the investment potential Hijauan Kiara holds," said N.K. Tong.

He explained that Hijauan Kiara is the second niche and innovative development of BKP the first being Aman Kiara, an exclusive gated-and-guarded precinct of 19 bungalows and 12 duplex condovillas also situated in Mont'Kiara.

Unique for its strata bungalow concept introduced to ensure the external facades of homes remain consistent with project's theme, Aman Kiara which has a gross sales value of RM75 million together with Hijauan Kiara's RM250 million form part of a series of projects expected to generate a turnover of RM600 million.

Hijauan Kiara is accessible via the Kerinchi and Penchala Links of the Sprint Highway, Jalan Duta, Jalan Damansara and Jalan Segambut Dalam. It is also supported by the thriving commercial areas of Sri Hartamas and Desa Sri Hartamas.
