This was what 77 guests from United Overseas Bank (UOB) Privilege Banking discovered when they were treated to fine dining held at BKP Gallery.

Chef Farouk shows off his culinary skills to an
attentive audience at the Hyperkitchen

They had the opportunity to watch in awe and admiration as Chef Farouk Othman dished out his diverse culinary skills. A silver medalist at the prestigious Bocused’Or Asia 2008 Culinary Olympiads in Shanghai, Chef Farouk of The Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, presented some of his ‘secret recipes’ and innovative tips in preparing Mushroom Risotto, Prego’s Tiramisu and Coffee Ice Cream among other exotic dishes at the swanky BKP Gallery’s Hyperkitchen. Chef Farouk described the Hyperkitchen as the nicest displayed kitchen that he had ever used for cooking demonstration. He was impressed with its state-of-the-art, imported kitchen appliances from Gaggenau, complemented with modern furnishings and full height glass panels.

BKP’s Group Managing Director Mr. NK Tong shared with the guests that the concept would be featured at the rooftop of the VERVE® Suites’ Vibe Tower. “The Hyperkitchen is a reflection of food preparation at its best.”

“It’s a sneak preview of the kind of trendy lifestyle that homeowners of VERVE® Suites can expect to enjoy when they move in there,” he said.

To make it a memorable night for everyone, a lucky draw contest was held and four guests won themselves a dining voucher courtesy of The Westin Hotel.
