To mark this significant moment, the company, led by its Group Managing Director NK Tong had a simple ceremony of officiating and handing over of the equipment to the Chairman of NASOM Teh Beng Choon in the presence of the teachers, children and parents.

NK said, "The playground equipment used to be located at The Pavilions of Bukit Kiara which was the previous sales gallery of BKP. With its recent relocation, the playground could not be accommodated at the new site. Instead of discarding it, we decided to donate it to NASOM as part of our service to the community."

"We are really excited about the opportunity to bring cheers to the children at NASOM and this also marked a remarkable event as the playground equipment has found a new place and owner,' he added.

BKP initiated this exercise with the assistance of Alpha Playland, which helped to refurbish the playground equipment into brand new look before it was installed at NASOM.

Teh said the donation of playground equipment was timely for the children as it served as a good learning tool for the children with autism. "It will also help in the development of the children's socialisation and interaction skills. The teachers can now look forward to utilize this new playground to teach the children."

A delighted parent complimented BKP for its donation which reflected the company's thoughtfulness and support.Expression of excitement and thrill were seen on the faces of forty children in the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) centre as a set of playground equipment worth RM15,000 was donated to NASOM by BKP recently.
