The memorable event was made possible by Bukit Kiara Properties (BKP) whose staff came a calling at the charity home for the orphans and some old folks.

BKP lived true to one of its four core values, caring, with a generous donation of mooncakes and a sumptuous dinner for the House of Joy's underpriviledged residents ranging from four to eighty years old. The mooncakes were specially bought from another charity home, Beautiful Gate Foundation, in support of its fundraising programmes.
The caring BKP staff, led by its Group Managing Director NK Tong toured the home before helping them to decorate the place with colourful lanterns and joined in the celebration.

Making the occasion a night of fun was a hilarious performance by well-known comedian Cha Cha The Clown whose spontaneous jokes had the children, teenagers and the adults in stitches.

There were also a series of games and contest where prizes were given to the winners and were awarded with consolation prizes.

NK said the visit to House of Joy was one of BKP's community service activities that help the staff to reinforce the caring spirit of the company.

House of Joy's principal Tang Chee Sing thanked BKP for making the Mooncake festival meaningful for the residents. "You've made the celebration a joyous one for everyone.
