Wharton University of Pennsylvania visited BKP in May. It also stopped over in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore as part of its Asean study tour. Wharton, which has carved a niche as a top business school in America, came with 40 business students. Students from the two universities were briefed by NK on the making of Hijauan Kiara and the various aspects of its development. They were also taken on a walk-through of BKP's latest development - the Verve Suites and Verve Shops. Wharton's recruiting relationship manager Michelle Hopping said the visit to BKP was fruitful as it gave the students a firsthand look into the business operations of a progressive property developer. She said the goal of Wharton's tour was to provide the students with a good sense of how businesses are done in this region.
