Delicious food and good companionship are some of the criteria of a successful party and function.  With that in mind, over eight hundred homeowners and residents of Bukit Kiara Properties (BKP) were invited to a food fiesta to savour a wide array of local delicacies in Mont’Kiara recently.

Themed “Malaysian Food Fiesta”, the event offered more than twenty types of mouth-watering local delicacies that reflect the fusion of multi-racial flavours and culinary styles that are uniquely Malaysian. The 2-day event was overwhelmed by homeowners and residents from BKP’s Aman Kiara, Hijauan Kiara and VERVE® Suites projects who gathered to enjoy good food under one roof.

“I like the theme of this event and the varieties of food served during this fiesta. Malaysian food has always been the best connection that links our community together. It is great that BKP organised such unique event for its customers,” said Vincent, who stays in VERVE® Suites.

Compact stalls were lined up in a street food setting in front of BKP’s sales gallery with colourful Malaysian states flags waving along the verandah. While the tempting aroma of food wafting in the air, homeowners and residents were seen strolling along the stalls before filling their plates with Malaysian’s all time favourites such as Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee, Char Kuey Teow, Ipoh Hor Fun, Satay, Lemang &Rendang and Roti Canai. The list continued with delicious side dishes such as Popiah, Indian Rojak, Fruit Rojak, Keropok, Tau Fu Fa andCendol.

“We believe in harmonious community living, and enjoy orgainising events to get our homeowners and residents together. This food fiesta is a good platform for us to meet and keep in touch with one another as well as promoting neighbourliness among the residents. It is important to enrich the lives of our customers by continuously engaging them in different ways,” said BKP’s Group Managing Director, NK Tong.

Prior to the event, BKP team members had been sourcing delicious street food from all over Klang Valley in order to present the best local food to its customers. A vendor was even invited all the way from Penang to serve authentic Penang Curry Mee.

In addition to the varieties of food, there was also a clown to entertain the children and colourful balloons were given out to them. In making the event more memorable, BKP also presented carnation flowers to all the mothers who attended the fiesta in conjunction with Mother’s Day celebration.
