BKP CONTINUES TO DRAW OVERSEAS INTEREST

The Hyundai Development Group, one of the largest property developers in Korea, with a total staff force of 6,000 and annual turnover of RM11.4 billion came a calling with 24 staff at the Pavilions of Bukit Kiara on March 3.

Led by its Managing Director, Mr. Lim Chae-Hwan, the team visited the various show units of the Verve Suites situated at the Pavilions of Bukit Kiara. The team, comprising engineers and marketing personnel, then went on a site tour of Hijauan Kiara where they were briefed by BKP's Group Managing Director, NK Tong on the company's use of Industrialised Building System of construction.

Shortly after the tour, the team assembled at the theatrette where they fielded questions to NK for more than an hour. They were impressed with the system that BKP uses for its construction and the way the company marketed its products through its database.

During their two-day stay in Malaysia, the team visited BKP and a project site in Putrajaya before adjourning to Singapore to complete the study tour in South East Asia.

Meanwhile, another group of visitors, comprising 15 members from the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association, Inc. of the Philippines, also came to the Pavilions of Bukit Kiara on March 7 to conduct a study tour at BKP's three projects the completed Aman Kiara, the under construction Hijauan Kiara and the recently unveiled Verve Suites.

BKP's Group Managing Director, NK Tong said: "We are really honoured that we have so many people coming from various parts of the world wanting to take a first hand look at our projects. We also learn a lot from the exchange of ideas on how things are done in their countries. It has been a refreshing experience for us too."
