Kids were seen inspecting every corner and hunting for the Easter eggs hidden around Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home (PECH) when Bukit Kiara Properties (BKP) had an early Easter celebration with them.

Caring has been one of the four core values embraced by BKP, a boutique property developer in Mont’Kiara. Inspired by the caring spirit advocated by the company, its marketing and property services teams initiated a community event to celebrate the upcoming Easter festival with 22 children at PECH.

“This event is one of the company’s Caring Hand initiatives of contributing back to the community, sending warmth to those in need. I am glad that the team embraced the company’s core value of caring,” said BKP’s Group Managing Director, NK Tong.

The event kicked off with an Easter egg hunt activity where the kids were divided into groups to play as teams. They were happily running around and scrutinising the surroundings for the colourful eggs. The kids’ laughter filled the home whenever eggs were found and their hilarious actions left everyone presents in stitches.

Following the egg hunt activity and games session, BKP’s staff handed over some essential items including food, electrical appliances and household cleaning products to the home. The staff also donated money to PECH to pay off their one-month utility bills.

“We are very appreciative of you taking care of our needs and spending time with us. Your presence has brought cheers to the kids. We also hope that the public can visit us more often and even arrange some personal functions here, to share the joy with the kids,” said PECH’s Children Affairs and Public Relations Manager Mr Christopher K. Michael.

Adding to the fun of the Easter celebration was the luncheon session, where kids were treated with sumptuous food prepared by BKP’s staff and their family members. The charity team also took the opportunity to spend quality time with the kids before leaving the home with smiling faces and lasting memories.

“We are glad that the kids enjoyed the games and learnt the importance of team spirit. This is also a refreshing day for us as each team member took their own initiative to prepare some food and spend time interacting with the children,” said BKP’s General Manager for Marketing and Sales, Alex Chua.
